The family of Mamma Angela’s runs a very nice restaurant in Orvieto: the Osteria da Mamma Angela… What’s in a name? We immediately felt perfectly at ease in this cozy bistro, ideally located on the Piazza del Popolo in the centre of Orvieto. The food is truly genuine, honest and tasty, from fabulous cured meats, home-made pasta with fresh truffle, stewed wild boar, ravioli with ricotta and spinach, amazing red wines and a wide range of marvelous desserts. However, what really makes us feel at home over and over again, is the really warm welcome and very friendly servicing by Luca and the whole family crew. It just feels as if you were one of the close friends of the family. Not only the food, but also the service in Osteria da Mamma Angela is really mama’s homemade.
