Hidden in the small but very pretty piazza XXIX Marzo, this “Slow Food” restaurant really offers a good deal. Valentina, the restaurant’s chef, is a true believer of biological food and only selects organic products of high quality that are available in the immediate neighbourhood and that come from strictly selected farms and local producers.
The dishes are nicely presented, simple, seasonal and fully based on local traditions. Al Saltapicchio looks a bit wanna-be-fancy, but the food is really good. Just trust Valentina’s judgement and her kitchen.
